About the frame
61×91.5 cm (24.02 x 36.02 in) is the classic poster size in which many film and art posters are printed. At this size the frame becomes a distinct part of the wall, and solid, untreated oak gives the poster a warm, exclusive setting that lifts it from loose poster to finished work. The frame is carefully cut, sanded and assembled by hand in our Danish workshop, and the wide 20 mm front reaches 5 mm over the glass and backing board. You can choose a 20 mm depth if you want to keep the frame light, or a 30 mm depth, which gives a solid profile and more oak visible from the side. The frame can hang both vertically and horizontally.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is especially recommended for a large format like 61×91.5 cm, as it weighs much less than glass and cannot shatter. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image, but makes the frame heavier in this format, so make sure you use a sturdy hanging fixture.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.

Choose a 61×91.5 cm frame that fits closely around the image, or go up a size and let a passepartout give the picture extra space and a more finished look. A slim profile keeps it simple and modern, a wide frame suits the large format, and a coloured frame can tie the image to the rest of your interior.

It is built in our Danish framing workshop, exactly to the measurements and configuration you have chosen, and we take the time to make every framing carefully with the right materials.
