The Iguazu Falls in northernmost Argentina are one of the most beautiful places in the world, yet the Argentine authorities felt compelled to promote the national park in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires in the 1930s - with the text "Conocer la Patria es un Deber", which means : Knowing the motherland is a duty. The poster shows an Argentine yellow leopard standing over a cliff edge next to a tree with the waterfalls in the background.

We've seen this poster sold once before, but we know it's very rare, and this copy is in near mint condition.

Condition: 9/10 - A lot of patina on the thin paper, but otherwise perfect.

The frame is not included, but you can buy one of our custom frames, so that it fits the poster's 73 x 108 cm perfectly. We always ship frames and posters separately so that we don't risk damaging the poster if the frame's glass breaks. Broken frames can always be replaced, but the old lithographs cannot.
