Very special and very colorful ship poster from coveted Cunard Line. Ship posters usually do not show much more than the beautiful ships, but this poster also shows three smaller ships and two sailors, who stand with their pipes and enjoy the sight of the colossal ship from the Cunard Line. We think it is the ship RMS Carinthia that we see, but the poster also mentions the other ships in the Cunard Line fleet Franconia, Laconia, Scythia and Samaria.

We have seen many Cunard Line posters over the years but have never seen this poster before, nor can we find it anywhere else on the internet.

Condition

8/10 - Nice patina and some damage to the white area at the top. Otherwise, a poster in almost perfect condition, with really beautiful colors!

Authenticity

This poster is - like all our old posters - an original copy, from the time when the poster was made, which we guess in this case is the 1930s. However, we do not know the exact year. If you want more pictures of the poster, you are always welcome to contact us. PlakatKunst only deals in posters from a single private collector who is an expert in original vintage posters, with one of the world's most exclusive collections, which he is now selling out.

Framing

If you want a frame for the poster, you can buy one of our custom-made frames , which can be made with the same dimensions as the poster: 80.5 x 70 cm. We are happy to give our opinion on how we think the poster is best framed.
