About the frame

Many photo prints and portraits are made in 20×25 cm (7.87 x 9.84 in), which is close to 8×10 inches. A blue glossy frame makes the format fresh and youthful and especially suits light portraits, harbour scenes and colourful drawings. The narrow 13 mm profile is discreet, but the colour ensures the picture gets a clear, characterful border on the wall or desk. Solid ayous wood makes the frame strong and light. The front overlaps the glass by 5 mm and holds the portrait securely. The frame comes with a stand, so it can be placed on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung both horizontally and vertically despite the stand, which can also be snapped off without much effort if you would rather do without it.

Glass

- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 20×25 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
