Very fine and rare airplane poster with a simple style in blue and a format that fits nicely on any picture wall.

The lithograph bears the text: " None Faster...None Finer...To and Through the South "

We do not know exactly when the poster was printed, but it is certainly from the first edition, and the DC-6 aircraft was introduced in 1948, which is why it was most likely around this time that the poster was printed.

We have seen old postcards with this motif, but never before have we seen this design as a poster, nor can it be found anywhere else on the internet. Add to that that the lithograph is in perfect condition.

The DC-6 was Delta's first aircraft with seat tray tables. On previous flights, passengers balanced meal trays on pillows held on their laps.
