Die Elektrische Gotthardlinie - Switzerland

Swiss travel poster from the 1930s for the Gotthard Electric Railway Company, designed by the Swiss painter and poster artist Otto Baumberger (1889 - 1961). Through the Gotthard Tunnel under the Swiss Alps, this railway connects Northern Europe with the Ticino Lakes and Italy.

This poster is with German text. We also have a copy with English text, which is more rare and more expensive. However, this German version is in absolutely perfect condition, while the English is only almost perfect with a little more patina - 9/10. The English poster is also slightly larger (64.5 x 102.5 cm) while this German version is 62.5 x 102 cm. You can see the English version here.

Picture frame is not included in the price. See our large selection of exclusive frames, which can be precisely adapted to the poster's 62.5 x 102 cm format.
