Really beautiful and incredibly rare map from past England.
Part of the text in the top right corner reads:
"Watling street is the Early English name for the great Roman road from London past St. Albans to Wrexeter near Shrewsbury. Theroad from London to Dover by the way of Rochester and Canterbury is called by the same name which has without authority been applied to various other roads in Britain."
The card has a nice patina, but in addition it looks as good as new.
