The artist Albert Solon specialized in aviation posters while working for Farman Airlines and later Air France, KLM and Lufthansa. His design work for Farman used an inimitable Art Deco style.

The lithograph shows an F-170 Jabiru (Stork) eight-seater aircraft with the destinations Paris, Belgium, Holland, Germany and Scandinavia mentioned.

Farman Air Lines was founded in 1919 and merged in 1933 with Air France.
