About the frame
Posters are often sold in 40×60 cm (15.75 x 23.62 in), and the format's 2:3 ratio also makes it well suited to large photo enlargements. A green glossy frame in this size gives the poster depth and character and suits botanical posters, vintage travel posters and modern graphics alike. Even in this format, the solid ayous wood is easy to handle, and the sturdy construction makes the frame well suited to larger posters. With the metal hangers on the back, you decide whether the poster hangs vertically or horizontally.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is the most durable and lightweight option and makes a 40×60 cm frame easier to hang. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image – ideal if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
