About the frame
A 24×24 cm (9.45 x 9.45 in) square has room for slightly larger graphics, art prints and photos, and here a yellow glossy frame can become a distinct design element. It suits Scandinavian interiors with light surfaces, where the yellow border adds warmth and a hint of playfulness. The high-gloss lacquer makes the colour look pure and clear, and the rounded corners soften the overall look. The front overlaps the glass and backing board by 5 mm for a secure hold. The frame comes with a stand, so it can be placed on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung both horizontally and vertically despite the stand, which can also be snapped off without much effort if you would rather do without it.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 24×24 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
