Museum glass is the absolute best choice for those looking for both protection and aesthetics. In addition to being non-reflective and crystal clear, museum glass protects your poster from UV rays with a full 70% protection, which preserves the colors of your poster for many years. This type of glass is the professional solution for works of art and posters that need to be preserved for a long time. For maximum protection, you can purchase acid-free mounts and insert paper.

If you choose passepartout for your A3 frame, you can frame any poster with dimensions smaller than A3 (29.7 x 42 cm). If you want to frame an A3 poster with passepartout, you must choose a larger picture frame.

When choosing passepartout for the frame, we need the following information:

Dimensions of the poster size
Carefully measure your poster and enter the exact width and height above. Then we make the hole 1 cm smaller, which gives a 5 mm overlap of the passepartout, with which the poster can be taped to the back of your passepartout.

Position of the hole
A centrally located hole is the most normal, but a hole located at the top (equal distance to the top and sides) gives a more unique expression.

If you don't want a hole in your passepartout, but simply a piece of A3 passepartout cardboard that you can put the poster on top of, then you can also choose this option at the same price. This solution is chosen by many for real art.

Color
We offer 11 carefully selected colors and will add more colors soon. They are all made with 1.5 mm acid-free cardboard, where the hole is cut at an angle which ensures that the passe-partout does not cast a shadow on the poster. Yellow, purple, cream and dark blue have a coarser texture than the others. White with black core is more white (with a bit of gray in the color) than the normal white passepartout, which is a bit broken with a bit of cream in the shade.

Delivery

We ship world wide, and the delivery time depends on your location. We strive to deliver within the European Union within 7 working days, and within 14 days outside the EU.

Standard frames to a parcel rarely takes a week to arrive, while frames with special dimensions and home delivery will take longer.

We send frames with GLS up to 70x100 within the EU. Larger frames and shipments outside the EU are handled by DHL. Posters are shipped with UPS across the globe within a couple of days.

Right of return

You have a 100-day right of return on all products purchased in our webshop except for custom made products (which can´t be returned) and lithographs (14 days right of return).

If you wish to return, simply contact us by e-mail - info@plakatkunst.dk - after which we will send you a return label. The product must be returned in the same condition as it was received. The return costs are offset against the refund.
