About the frame
In 18×18 cm (7.09 x 7.09 in), square motifs get a little more space without becoming large. The format suits small posters, children's drawings and photos, and the white matte frame gives a clean, calm look that blends naturally into bright rooms. Because the surface is fully matte, the edge looks uniform all the way round with crisp, precise lines. The frame is made of solid ayous wood – a light wood that makes it easy to handle. The frame comes with a stand, so it can be placed on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung both horizontally and vertically despite the stand, which can also be snapped off without much effort if you would rather do without it.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 18×18 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
Choose options
Create the perfect framing
How should your 18×18 cm image be presented? In our frame designer you can explore the options and find a framing that suits the picture and your personal style. Upload your image to see it in the combinations you try.
An 18×18 cm frame gives a simple framing close around the image. With a larger frame and a passepartout, you can play with the distance between picture and frame. Try different colours and widths, and see what suits your picture best.
Every time you change a choice, the view updates. That way you can follow the difference from one combination to the next until you have found the look you want.
