About the frame
24×24 cm (9.45 x 9.45 in) is a medium-sized square for square art prints, photos and graphic motifs that need a little more presence than the small sizes. The matt white wooden frame with a 20 mm wide front creates a light, harmonious frame that gives the picture a sense of calm around it. The fully matt lacquer is even, with no visible wood grain, so the symmetry of the square stands out sharply. You can choose between a 20 mm depth, which is light and discreet, and a 30 mm depth, which gives the frame a stronger profile and a more visible side. The frame comes with a stand, so it can sit on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung horizontally or vertically despite the stand – and if you would rather do without the stand, it can be snapped off without much effort.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 24×24 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
