About the frame
This A0 frame is made of wood and has a matte, white surface with no visible veins or grain. The simple, smooth design makes the frame suitable for both colorful posters and black-and-white artwork, and combined with a white passepartout you get a bright and harmonious presentation of your picture.
The frame is produced in a solid profile of 20 mm in width and 30 mm in depth. The substantial dimensions give both a stable grip on the large glass format and a calm, balanced look on the wall. The glass and backing board sit 5 mm in under the edge of the frame, which ensures a durable framing with a precise finish along your artwork.
Like all our frames, this model comes with hanging hardware, so it can be mounted both vertically and horizontally.
Glass
Acrylic glass (also called plexiglass) is without doubt our recommendation for large frames, as it does not break and is just as clear as real glass once the protective film has been removed. You can hardly see the difference between acrylic glass and standard glass, but the museum glass and the non-reflective glass naturally have some advantages that you may want. If you buy the frame with real glass, you do not need to worry about shipping. Should the glass break during shipping, we will simply send a new frame.
