About the frame
Small pictures from the photo album, a little drawing or a travel keepsake fit nicely in 10×13 cm (3.94 x 5.12 in), a small, slightly elongated size. The light oak veneer frame has a soft, Nordic tone, and the 15 mm wide profile creates a clear border around the picture without making the whole look heavy. The 15 mm depth gives the edge a narrow, balanced shape. Because the veneer has a uniform finish, all four sides look the same, which suits the small format, where every detail gets noticed. The frame comes with a stand, so it can sit on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung horizontally or vertically despite the stand – and if you would rather do without the stand, it can be snapped off without much effort.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 10×13 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
Choose options
Find exactly the right framing
Let your 10×13 cm picture be the starting point for a personal framing. In our frame designer you can combine frames and passepartouts and explore what brings out the colours and details of the image.
You can choose a frame in the picture's own size or let a passepartout bridge the gap to a larger frame. Try a subtle border around the image, or give it plenty of space with a wider passepartout – proportions make a big difference to the finished look.
Upload your image to see your ideas directly on screen. The view follows your changes as you go, so you can try out the options and choose the framing you like best.
