About the frame

The classic 10×15 cm (3.94 x 5.91 in) photo size is the one most developed prints come in, and here you get a frame that fits it exactly. Light oak is a neutral yet natural choice that suits holiday snaps, family photos and black-and-white portraits alike. The profile is 15 mm wide and 15 mm deep, and the front reaches 5 mm over the glass and backing board. This means a narrow strip of the photo is hidden along the edge, so bear this in mind if important details sit right at the outer edge of the picture. The frame comes with a stand, so it can sit on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung horizontally or vertically despite the stand – and if you would rather do without the stand, it can be snapped off without much effort.

Glass

- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 10×15 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
