About the frame
This frame is made for 27×34.5 cm (10.63 x 13.58 in), a less common size that is hard to match with a standard frame. The light oak veneer frame has a 15 mm front and a 15 mm depth, which together give an elegant, narrow edge. The front reaches 5 mm over the glass and backing board, so the motif is held securely. Sturdy metal fittings on the back allow the frame to hang both vertically and horizontally. The light wood tone is a neutral choice that suits many kinds of motifs, and the veneer keeps its appearance for years.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is the most durable and lightweight option and makes a 27×34.5 cm frame easier to hang. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image – ideal if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
