About the frame
Not all art prints follow the standard sizes, and 27×34.5 cm (10.63 x 13.58 in) is one of the less common formats that a number of prints and posters nevertheless come in – so it is nice that the frame fits exactly. The light blue matte colour gives the format a fresh and friendly frame that is reminiscent of a summer sky and makes both black-and-white and colourful motifs shine. The narrow 15 mm profile is handmade in solid ayous wood, and the metal parts on the back make it easy to hang the frame both vertically and horizontally.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is the most durable and lightweight option and makes a 27×34.5 cm frame easier to hang. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image – ideal if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
