Beautiful picture frame in solid oak, made from 100% untreated oak from sustainable forests in Canada. All of our A0 wooden frames have a frame profile that is 2 cm wide and 3 cm deep. The natural grain of oak varies, giving each frame a unique look. Many find it beautiful and authentic, but if you want a more uniform and predictable wood grain, both dark oak and light oak can be a good choice - they offer a more uniform look all the way through the four strips.
Glass
We recommend using acrylic glass (plexiglass) for larger frames. Real glass, including non-reflective glass (especially) and museum glass, is more fragile and has a higher risk of breaking during assembly or transport. Acrylic glass is both lightweight and shatterproof, and it provides the same clear view as regular glass when you remove the protective film.
However, if you wish, you can also choose regular glass, non-reflective glass or the unsurpassed museum glass, which in addition to providing 70% UV protection is also actually non-reflective without being the least bit matte, which is the case with regular non-reflective glass. Should the glass or frame be damaged during transport, we will of course send you a new frame.
