About the frame
If you have a print in 27×34.5 cm (10.63 x 13.58 in), you are dealing with a less common size, and then it is worth choosing a frame made for exactly that size. This model is made of solid, untreated oak and nothing else, and the grain and texture vary from moulding to moulding, so the frame gets its own character. The profile is a narrow 12 mm and 18 mm deep, and the glass and backing board sit 4 mm behind the front. The hardboard backing has fittings, so the frame can be hung vertically as well as horizontally.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is the most durable and lightweight option and makes a 27×34.5 cm frame easier to hang. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image – ideal if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
