About the frame
A 20×20 cm (7.87 x 7.87 in) square looks great on its own, but also works as a building block in a gallery wall with several frames of the same size. Because the frame is made of 100% solid, untreated oak, each one has its own pattern of grain and tones, giving a wall of several frames a lively, natural rhythm. The 20 mm wide front creates a clear edge around the motif. You choose the depth yourself: 20 mm is light and discreet, while 30 mm gives a stronger profile where more of the oak shows from the side. The frame comes with a stand, so it can sit on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung horizontally or vertically despite the stand – and if you would rather do without the stand, it can be snapped off without much effort.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 20×20 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.

Create the perfect framing
Find the right framing for your 20×20 cm picture. You can upload your image to our frame designer and see how it looks with different frames and passepartouts.
Experiment with colours and proportions, and create a combination that highlights your square image. Let a 20×20 cm frame fit closely around the picture, or choose a larger frame with a passepartout that gives it more space.
The preview follows your choices, so you can continually judge how the framing changes the look of the picture – right down to the smallest details.
