Glass

For this dark blue picture frame, you can choose acrylic glass (plexiglass) or one of the three different types of real glass: normal glass, non-reflective glass or museum glass, which optimally protects against UV radiation.

Passepartout / Mat / Mount

Passepartout is a piece of 1.5 mm acid-free cardboard, which is placed between the glass and the poster without casting a shadow on it. When you choose a cutout in your passepartout, you should subtract 1 cm from both height and width compared to the dimensions of your poster, so that there is 0.5 cm all around to mount the poster on the back of the passepartout. If you have, for example, a 30x43 cm poster, you must choose 29x42 as the cutout.
