Matte silver aluminum frame - Narrow (6 mm) - A0 frame (84.1x118.9 cm)

NOTE: WE ONLY SHIP A0 FRAMES IN EU.
About the frame
This premium aluminum frame in A0 format (84,1 x 118,9 cm) has an elegant matte silver finish and an exclusive profile that lets the large artwork take center stage. The front is slightly curved and just 6 mm wide, while the 20 mm deep sides have fine grooves that give the frame character and a refined look when seen from the side.
Despite the large format, the frame thus appears slender and discreet from the front, while the deeper aluminum profile gives the framing more substance and a beautiful, consistent finish.
Framing and hanging
The premium frame has two movable fittings on the back and comes with a cord for hanging. The fittings can be moved as needed, so the A0 frame can be hung both vertically and horizontally.
How to place the poster in the frame:
- Loosen the screws in all four corners.
- Remove the two hanging fittings from one of the short frame rails as well as the tension clips that hold the backing board in place.
- Remove the short frame rail completely.
- Carefully slide the glass and backing board out of the frame as one unit.
- Place the poster between the glass and the backing board.
- Slide the glass, poster and backing board back into the frame together.
- Refit the short frame rail and tighten the corner screws almost all the way.
- Put the tension clips back so the backing board is held tightly against the glass.
- Finally, tighten the corner screws fully.
Glass
For a large aluminum frame like this one, we recommend acrylic glass (plexiglass). It is considerably lighter than real glass and also shatterproof, which makes it particularly well suited to the A0 format. Once the protective film has been removed from both sides, the acrylic glass looks clear and gives a beautiful rendering of the artwork.
If you want real glass, we also offer standard glass for the A0 frame. However, we do not offer non-reflective glass and museum glass for aluminum frames this large, as the combination of the large format, the metal profile and these glass types increases the risk of damage. If you want non-reflective glass or museum glass, you can instead choose one of our A0 wooden frames.
