About the frame
Elegant premium aluminum frame in matte silver for posters and pictures in 40 x 50 cm. The slightly curved front is just 6 mm wide and gives a simple and refined look around the artwork. The 20 mm deep sides have fine lengthwise grooves, which add texture to the aluminum profile and emphasize the exclusive quality of the frame.
Framing and hanging
The premium frame has two movable fittings on the back and comes with a cord for horizontal hanging.
How to place the artwork in the frame:
- First loosen the screws in the four corners of the frame.
- Remove the two hanging fittings on one of the short sides and then the tension clips that hold the backing board in place.
- Take off the short frame rail.
- Carefully slide the glass and backing board out of the frame as one unit.
- Place your artwork between the glass and the backing board.
- Slide everything back into place in the aluminum profile.
- Refit the short frame rail and tighten the corners almost all the way.
- Put the tension clips back so the backing board is held tightly against the glass.
- Finish by tightening the corner screws fully.
Glass
Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is a lightweight and shatterproof solution that looks almost like standard glass once the protective film has been removed from both sides. You can also choose between three types of real glass for the frame: standard glass, non-reflective glass or the exclusive museum glass.

Ordered a frame and it was shipped the next business day and I received it the day after. The frame is beautiful and was well packaged.
I love our beautiful frames from poster art and I had a fantastic experience with customer service. You can blindly trust them to deliver quality both aesthetically and ethically. Thank you very much ❤️ I will be buying all my frames from here.
Extremely good and proactive service, even though the error started with me, it was fixed quickly! And the frame is also super nice.
Bought 2 pieces of 100x140 frames and received very quick and knowledgeable guidance in choosing the type of wood based on pictures sent of where they should hang. They were delivered just a few days later and were very securely packaged. We are SO satisfied and this is not the last time we order from here 😄
Great service. Nice wooden frame with passepartout. Had also ordered a passepartout for another frame. However, I had misunderstood the instructions for measuring so it didn't fit. Posterkunst immediately offered to send a new one with the correct measurements. Very nice customer service.
