Matte silver premium aluminum frame - Narrow (6 mm) - 100x100 cm

When choosing glass for your frame, acrylic glass (also known as plexiglass) is the best option for larger formats. It is lightweight, durable and almost impossible to break. Please note that the acrylic glass comes with a protective film that you can easily remove to reveal the crystal clear surface.

In our 100x100 aluminum frames, acrylic glass is the only option, as glass and metal are a dangerous combination. However, if you prefer real glass, you should take a look at our 100x100 wooden frames.

This 100x100 cm frame is designed with practical brackets on the back, which makes hanging incredibly easy. You can hang your frame both horizontally and vertically, depending on how you want to display your picture, by simply attaching the included string to the brackets.

To get your poster into the frame, loosen the two screws at the top, remove one strip, and pull out the backing plate along with the glass. Place your poster between the backing plate and the glass, and put everything back in the frame. Once you have assembled everything, screw the strips back on, and the buckles along the edge make sure everything is securely in place. Once the frame is assembled, you can hang it up and enjoy the beautiful framing of your poster.

We need the following information to make your passepartout:

Poster size
When ordering a passepartout (also called mount or mat) for your frame, please make sure to provide the exact dimensions of the poster. We will cut a hole that is 1 cm smaller than the poster. For example, if your poster measures 88x88 cm, the hole in the passepartout will be 87x87 cm. This gives an overlap of 0.5 cm, so that the poster can be mounted with tape on the back of the passepartout.

External dimensions of the passepartout
You do not need to provide the external dimensions, as they will naturally be 100x100 cm – the size of the frame's glass. Please note that the glass, the masonite backing and the passepartout will extend approximately 0.5 cm below the frame.

Alternatively, you can choose a passepartout without a hole. In this case, we will send you a 100x100 cm sheet of white cardboard on which you can directly place the poster.

Cutout position
Most people choose to have the hole placed centrally in the passepartout, especially when it comes to square frames. If you want a different location, you can choose to have the hole placed at the top, with the same distance to both the sides and the top. You can also get the passepartout without a cutout. Simply a piece of 100x100 cm cardboard, which you can mount the poster on.

Color options
We offer 11 different colors of passepartouts, but these are only available up to the size 81x110 cm. For a frame of size 100x100 cm, you can therefore only choose a white passepartout. All our passepartouts are made of 1.5 mm thick, acid-free high-quality cardboard.

Delivery

We ship world wide, and the delivery time depends on your location. We strive to deliver within the European Union within 7 working days, and within 14 days outside the EU.

Standard frames to a parcel rarely takes a week to arrive, while frames with special dimensions and home delivery will take longer.

We send frames with GLS up to 70x100 within the EU. Larger frames and shipments outside the EU are handled by DHL. Posters are shipped with UPS across the globe within a couple of days.

Right of return

You have a 100-day right of return on all products purchased in our webshop except for custom made products (which can´t be returned) and lithographs (14 days right of return).

If you wish to return, simply contact us by e-mail - info@plakatkunst.dk - after which we will send you a return label. The product must be returned in the same condition as it was received. The return costs are offset against the refund.
