About the frame

24×24 cm (9.45 x 9.45 in) is a nicely mid-sized square format that gives room for the details of an art print or a photo without the frame dominating the wall. The dark oak is a light brown stained oak veneer, and the natural sheen of the surface gives the motif a warm backdrop. The texture of the wood can be glimpsed, but the finish is harmonious and uniform. The frame has a narrow 12 mm front and 18 mm depth, and the hardboard backing is fitted with hangers, so the frame can be hung both vertically and horizontally. The frame comes with a stand, so it can sit on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung horizontally or vertically despite the stand – and if you would rather do without the stand, it can be snapped off without much effort.

Glass

- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 24×24 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
