About the frame
18×18 cm (7.09 x 7.09 in) gives a little more room than the small squares and suits a small graphic poster, a drawing or a square print. The wide dark oak frame surrounds the motif with a warm, glowing tone that particularly suits motifs with earthy colours, green shades or black-and-white graphics. The profile measures 20 mm in width and 30 mm in depth, and the front overlaps the glass and backing board by 5 mm. A frame that fits into both modern and classic rooms. The even veneer ensures a uniform look on all four sides. The frame comes with a stand, so it can sit on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung horizontally or vertically despite the stand – and if you would rather do without the stand, it can be snapped off without much effort.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 18×18 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
