About the frame
40×60 cm (15.75 x 23.62 in) is one of the most popular poster sizes and has the same 2:3 proportions as a camera image, so both posters and larger photos fit perfectly. In a wide frame of warm-glowing oak veneer, the poster gets a warm, inviting look that suits both a modern living room and a more classically furnished room. The 20 mm wide front and 30 mm depth give the frame a handsome volume without looking heavy, and the front overlaps the glass and backing board by 5 mm. The frame can hang both vertically and horizontally.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is the most durable and lightweight option and makes a 40×60 cm frame easier to hang. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image – ideal if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
