About the frame

This 100x140 cm picture frame is finished in an exclusive dark smoked oak veneer with a deep, dark brown tone that appears almost black in certain lighting conditions. The veneer features a subtle and elegant wood grain, giving the frame a warm and sophisticated appearance without drawing attention away from the artwork. It is our darkest wood frame while still preserving the authentic character and feel of real wood.

The frame profile measures 20 mm across the front and 30 mm in depth. Its robust construction is designed for large artwork, ensuring excellent stability while giving the frame a refined and well-balanced appearance.

Glazing

For a large 100x140 cm frame, we recommend acrylic glazing. It is significantly lighter than Standard glass, much more impact-resistant, and makes shipping, framing and wall mounting both easier and safer.

Acrylic offers excellent optical clarity and closely resembles real glass once the protective film has been removed. If you prefer real glass, you can also choose Standard glass, Non-reflective glass or Museum glass. Should the glazing be damaged during shipping, we will of course send you a replacement free of charge. If you ever need a replacement later, acrylic glazing for this frame size is also available.

Wall mounting

The frame is supplied with a complete hanging kit, making it easy to hang securely using the included wire. All fittings and instructions are included, and assembly only requires a Phillips screwdriver. See the final product image for the mounting system.
