About the frame
A3+ at 32.9×48.3 cm (12.95 x 19.02 in) is the size many photo printers and photographers use for larger prints, often with a white border around the image. The dark smoked oak frame is made precisely to this size, so you do not need to trim your print. The almost black veneer with visible grain gives the photograph an exclusive, warm frame that particularly suits black-and-white motifs. The 20 mm wide front creates a striking edge. Choose between a 20 mm depth, which is light and discreet, and a 30 mm depth, which gives a more striking profile. The front overlaps the glass and backing board by 5 mm, and the hanger works both vertically and horizontally.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is the most durable and lightweight option and makes a 32.9×48.3 cm frame easier to hang. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image – ideal if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.

Design your own frame
Give your A3+ image a framing that suits both the picture and the room it will hang in. In our frame designer you can try different frame profiles, colours and passepartouts and see how each choice changes the overall impression.
The poster can be framed closely in an A3+ frame, or you can give it more weight with a larger frame size and a passepartout as a calm border around the image. A slim frame keeps the focus on the picture, a bolder profile gives more presence on the wall, and a coloured frame can bring out a particular tone in the image.
If you have the picture to hand, you can upload it and see it in the frame straight away. The preview follows all your choices, so you can compare options side by side until the combination feels right.

Your frame is made for you when you order. In our own framing workshop in Denmark, we cut, assemble and finish each frame to exactly the measurements and choices you have made. We care about getting every detail right, from the corner joints to the finished framing. We work according to quality, sustainability and fair working conditions, both here in the workshop and in our cooperation with the suppliers we buy materials from.
