About the frame
At 15×15 cm (5.91 x 5.91 in), you have a versatile square format that works on its own as well as part of a gallery wall. Here a dark red glossy frame can be used as a deliberate accent, for example as the only coloured frame among black or white ones. The smooth, reflective finish creates an exclusive impression around small photos and illustrations, and the metal fittings on the back make it easy to get the frame up on the wall. The frame is made of solid ayous wood and therefore weighs very little. The frame comes with a stand, so it can be placed on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung both horizontally and vertically despite the stand, which can also be snapped off without much effort if you would rather do without it.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 15×15 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
