Coveted ship poster from 1939 by the Dutch shipping company Nederland Line with the ship MS. Oranje, which promoted voyages from Nice, France, to the exotic destinations Sri Lanka, Malaysia and the Dutch East Indies, which was a colony that existed from 1800-1949 and now forms Indonesia. Transhipment to Australia and the Far East is also mentioned, which is a collective term for the Far East Asian countries, including China, Japan and Korea.

We have seen the poster before in various variations, but this French edition has been sold for most, and we have never seen an edition in this exceptionally good condition. There is a very small tear at the bottom of the white area, and a bit of discoloration in the white. But otherwise the poster is in perfect condition.

Frame is not included in the price. See our large selection of exclusive frames that can be precisely adapted to the poster.
