About the frame
27×34.5 cm (10.63 x 13.58 in) is a less common size that can be hard to match with a standard frame, but this frame is made to exactly these measurements. The smoked oak veneer frame has a dark, sophisticated tone, and the 20 mm wide front gives the motif a clear and elegant border. You choose between a 20 mm depth, which keeps the frame light and discreet, and a 30 mm depth, where the profile becomes bolder. The front overlaps the glass and backing board by 5 mm. Flexible hangers on the back allow the frame to hang both vertically and horizontally.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is the most durable and lightweight option and makes a 27×34.5 cm frame easier to hang. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image – ideal if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
