About the frame

A0 is the largest A size and measures 84.1×118.9 cm (33.11 x 46.81 in), a wall format for large art prints, exhibition posters and architectural drawings. In this size the smoked oak frame is 30 mm deep with a 20×30 mm profile, which gives it stability and a striking, architectural appearance with real depth. The dark, sophisticated shade of the smoked oak looks great with large, light motifs, and the unbroken veneer makes the frame look well finished from every angle. The front is 20 mm wide and overlaps the glass and backing board by 5 mm. The frame is made to order in Denmark and can be hung vertically and horizontally.

Glass

- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is especially recommended for a large format like 84.1×118.9 cm, as it weighs much less than glass and cannot shatter. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image, but makes the frame heavier in this format, so make sure you use a sturdy hanging fixture.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
