Original Spanish travel poster from the 1930s published by the Patronato Nacional del Turismo (PNT) to promote the historic city of Salamanca – The Glorious Renaissance City. The motif shows an atmospheric night view of Salamanca's two cathedrals, whose domes and towers from the 16th–18th centuries light up over the Tormes River. Silhouettes of trees form a beautiful frame around the scene, while clear typography and the PNT logo complete the design.

Designed by Salvador Bartolozzi (1882–1950), a Spanish illustrator, set designer and poster artist, known for his significant role in Spanish modernism. In the 1920s and 1930s, he created a series of iconic travel posters for the Patronato Nacional del Turismo (PNT), combining artistic finesse with national pride. His works are characterized by bright colors, decorative shapes and romantic interpretations of Spain's historic cities and landscapes. Bartolozzi's posters became an important part of PNT's efforts to present Spain as a country of culture, beauty and tradition.
