About the frame
Matte black premium aluminum frame for A3 posters (29,7 x 42 cm). The elegant aluminum profile has a slightly curved front of only 6 mm, which creates slim and discreet framing of the artwork. The 20 mm deep sides are made with fine grooves that give the frame texture and an exclusive look from the side. The matte black finish makes the frame a stylish choice for colorful posters, photographs and more subdued artwork alike.
Framing and hanging
On the back, the premium frame has two movable brackets, which are used together with the included cord for hanging. The brackets can be positioned as needed, so the frame can hang both vertically and horizontally.
How to put the poster in the frame:
- Loosen the screws in all four corners of the frame.
- Remove the two hanging brackets from one of the short frame rails, and take out the clamping pieces for the backing board.
- Detach the short frame rail completely.
- Pull the glass and backing board out together through the open side.
- Lay the poster between the glass and the backing board.
- Slide the glass, poster and backing board back into the frame together.
- Put the short frame rail back on and tighten the corner screws almost all the way.
- Refit the clamping pieces so the backing board is held tightly against the glass.
- Finally, tighten the corner screws completely.
Glass
For this A3 aluminum frame you can choose between four types of glass. Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof and therefore a practical choice for aluminum. Standard glass is completely clear but also gives the most glare, while non-reflective glass reduces distracting reflections with its matte surface.
Museum glass is the most exclusive solution. It combines a very clear rendering of the artwork with low reflection and UV protection, which helps preserve the colors of the poster over time.

Ordered a frame and it was shipped the next business day and I received it the day after. The frame is beautiful and was well packaged.
I love our beautiful frames from poster art and I had a fantastic experience with customer service. You can blindly trust them to deliver quality both aesthetically and ethically. Thank you very much ❤️ I will be buying all my frames from here.
Extremely good and proactive service, even though the error started with me, it was fixed quickly! And the frame is also super nice.
Bought 2 pieces of 100x140 frames and received very quick and knowledgeable guidance in choosing the type of wood based on pictures sent of where they should hang. They were delivered just a few days later and were very securely packaged. We are SO satisfied and this is not the last time we order from here 😄
Great service. Nice wooden frame with passepartout. Had also ordered a passepartout for another frame. However, I had misunderstood the instructions for measuring so it didn't fit. Posterkunst immediately offered to send a new one with the correct measurements. Very nice customer service.
