About the frame
A 15×15 cm (5.91 x 5.91 in) square in glossy black is a small but striking element on the wall or shelf. The format suits square photos and small graphic prints, and the black frame creates a clear boundary that gives the motif weight. Mixed with other black frames in different sizes, it becomes a natural part of a graphic gallery wall. The lacquer is perfectly smooth, the edges are softly rounded, and tabs on the back make it easy to change the motif. The frame comes with a stand, so it can be placed on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung both horizontally and vertically despite the stand, which can also be snapped off without much effort if you would rather do without it.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 15×15 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
