A super slim, elegant black aluminium frame, perfect for framing your favourite poster. The matt lacquer finish on the frame gives a sophisticated and classic yet modern look that highlights your artwork without stealing the show. This frame is ideal for 100x100 cm posters, but can easily be used for smaller pictures if you choose a passepartout. The slim front is slightly curved and only 6 mm wide, while the straight sides, which are 19 mm deep, give a clean and stylish look that fits perfectly in any room.

We offer two types of aluminum frames: The affordable standard frame, which we use for the smaller sizes, and the exclusive, handmade premium aluminum frame, which we use for the larger frames like this 100x100 model. It is this highest quality that you get when you choose this aluminum frame.

Glass

When choosing glass for your 100x100 cm frame, acrylic glass (plexiglass) is the best choice, especially for the larger frames. It is lighter than traditional glass and cannot break, even in minor accidents. Remember that the acrylic glass comes with a protective film that you need to remove to reveal the clear surface.

As glass and metal can be a dangerous combination, acrylic glass is the only option for our 100x100 cm aluminum frames. For those who want real glass, we offer three types for our 100x100 wooden frames - for example the black 100x100 black wooden frame.

Framing and hanging

This 100x100 cm aluminum frame is designed with two brackets on the back (as shown in the last picture), making hanging both easy and flexible. By attaching the included string to the brackets, you can choose whether the frame should hang vertically or horizontally - it all depends on how you want to display your picture.

To insert your poster into the frame, simply loosen the two screws at the top, remove one of the 100 cm long strips and pull out the backing plate along with the glass. Place your poster between the backing plate and the glass and put the whole thing back into the frame. Once you have positioned it correctly, put the loose strip back on and tighten the corners. The frame construction is extremely practical and stable, as the clamps along the edge hold the backing plate tightly against the glass, ensuring that everything stays in place. Once the corners are tightened again, you can put the clamps back in and your frame is ready to be hung and admired.
