About the frame
61×91.5 cm (24×36 inches) is the large American poster size, and this is where film posters, music posters and graphic art prints really get to make an impact. The black premium aluminium frame is an obvious choice, because the matte black edge gives a clean-lined, graphic look that supports strong colours and contrasts. The front is gently curved and only 6 mm wide, while Nielsen's solid construction ensures the large size is held stable. The side is brushed and 20 mm deep. The size takes up a lot of space, so plan for plenty of room on the wall and a secure fixing.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is especially recommended for a large format like 61×91.5 cm, as it weighs much less than glass and cannot shatter. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image, but makes the frame heavier in this format, so make sure you use a sturdy hanging fixture.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.

Play with frames and passepartout
A 61×91.5 cm image takes up a lot of wall space, so the frame makes a big difference to how it comes across. With the frame designer you can try out profiles, colours and passepartouts and find the framing that suits your picture.
Choose a 61×91.5 cm frame that fits closely around the image, or go up a size and let a passepartout give the picture extra space and a more finished look. A slim profile keeps it simple and modern, a wide frame suits the large format, and a coloured frame can tie the image to the rest of your interior.
You can also upload your own picture and see the frame around it while you choose. Every change is shown instantly, so it's easy to try several directions before you decide.
