About the frame
15×20 cm (5.91 x 7.87 in) has the 3:4 ratio in which many phone cameras shoot, making it a natural choice for the pictures that would otherwise just stay on your phone. The black wooden frame gives them a more exclusive feel and suits portraits and landscapes equally well. The narrow 10 mm profile with a 4 mm overlap keeps the border understated, while the matte surface lets the wood structure shine faintly through. Metal clips on the back let you change the photo whenever you like. The frame comes with a stand, so it can be placed on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung both horizontally and vertically despite the stand, which can also be snapped off without much effort if you would rather do without it.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 15×20 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
