About the frame
27×34.5 cm (10.63 x 13.58 in) is a format rarely found in standard frames, so it's an advantage to be able to get a frame that fits your print without cropping. The black matte frame gives the motif an elegant, striking presentation, and the hard ayous wood ensures a solid construction with a long lifespan. The back has metal hangers, so the frame can be hung both vertically and horizontally. The smooth, matte lacquer covers the wood grain completely and gives an even edge, while the 15 mm moulding keeps the look narrow and refined.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is the most durable and lightweight option and makes a 27×34.5 cm frame easier to hang. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image – ideal if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
Choose options
Design your own framing
Your 27×34.5 cm image has its own proportions – and you can tailor the framing to match. With our frame designer you can try different frames and passepartouts and find a combination that highlights the picture's particular character.
Choose a 27×34.5 cm frame that fits the image directly, or combine a larger frame with a passepartout. Both the colour and the space around the picture shape the overall look, so experiment with subtle shades, clear contrasts and different widths.
If you upload your image, you can see how it works with your choices. The framing is shown as you adjust it, so you can explore the options and decide in your own time.
