About the frame
40×60 cm (15.75 x 23.62 in) follows the camera's 2:3 ratio and is an obvious format for larger photo posters and prints. The black matte frame gives the picture a striking, elegant border that makes it a natural centrepiece above a sofa or a sideboard. The hard ayous wood makes for a stable frame with high durability, and the metal hangers on the back allow it to be hung both vertically and horizontally. The smooth, matte lacquer looks even and covers the wood grain completely.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is the most durable and lightweight option and makes a 40×60 cm frame easier to hang. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image – ideal if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
