Black wooden frame – Narrow (15 mm) – A4 (21x29.7 cm)

We offer four very different types of glass for this black A4 frame. Acrylic glass (clear, light and shatter-free), normal glass, non-reflective glass or museum glass.

You can actually also buy the frame without glass. If you choose passepartout (also called mat or mount) for an A4 frame without glass, the mount can easily hold the image back. The advantage of this solution is that you completely get rid of the glare in the glass, but the disadvantage is that you have no protection against UV rays, which will cause the colors of your picture and passepartout to fade over time. It's about. 75% protection against UV rays in the museum glass and approx. half in the other three types of glass.

With passepartout for your A4 frame, you can frame any poster with dimensions smaller than A4 (21 x 29.7 cm). Many people use A4 posters to frame A5 pictures (14.8 x 21 cm).

If you want to frame an A4 photo with passepartout, you must buy a larger frame.

When you need a passepartout for your A4 picture frame, we need the following information from you:

Dimensions of your poster
The width and height of your poster must be specified. Then we cut a hole in your A4 passepartout which is 1 cm smaller. This means that the passepartout overlaps your poster by 0.5 cm, with which it can be easily attached to the back of your passepartout with, for example, tape. This is the recommended standard, but if you want the passepartout to cover more or less of your poster, you just have to slightly adjust the measurements you specify.

The position of the hole
Centrally placed hole standard, but if you want a more artistic expression, it can be a really interesting alternative with the hole placed at the top. It gives equal distance to the top and sides, with a wider passepartout at the bottom. You can also get the A4 passepartout cardboard without a hole.

Color
We have selected 11 colors and are constantly getting new colors. All our mounts are made with 1.5mm acid-free cardboard, but the texture is not the same for all mounts. Purple, yellow, cream and sometimes also dark blue have a coarser texture. Note that white with a black core is whiter than the white passepartout, which is a slightly broken white with a little bit of yellow in the colour.

Delivery

We ship world wide, and the delivery time depends on your location. We strive to deliver within the European Union within 7 working days, and within 14 days outside the EU.

Standard frames to a parcel rarely takes a week to arrive, while frames with special dimensions and home delivery will take longer.

We send frames with GLS up to 70x100 within the EU. Larger frames and shipments outside the EU are handled by DHL. Posters are shipped with UPS across the globe within a couple of days.

Right of return

You have a 100-day right of return on all products purchased in our webshop except for custom made products (which can´t be returned) and lithographs (14 days right of return).

If you wish to return, simply contact us by e-mail - info@plakatkunst.dk - after which we will send you a return label. The product must be returned in the same condition as it was received. The return costs are offset against the refund.
