About the frame
15×20 cm (5.91 x 7.87 in) has a 3:4 ratio, which many phone cameras use, so a picture from your phone can be printed and framed without losing anything. The matt black wooden frame with a 20 mm wide front gives the phone photo a sharp, contemporary edge that particularly suits city shots, night photos and motifs with strong colours. The black lacquer covers the wood grain completely and gives a smooth surface. You can choose a 20 mm depth, which keeps the frame light and discreet, or a 30 mm depth, where the profile becomes more pronounced. The front overlaps by 5 mm. The frame comes with a stand, so it can sit on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung horizontally or vertically despite the stand – and if you would rather do without the stand, it can be snapped off without much effort.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 15×20 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
