This large picture frame is lacquered with an elegant, matte black finish that preserves and highlights the natural structure of the wood. The frame is created specifically for 100x140 cm posters, and with its depth of 3 cm and width of 2 cm you get a nice visual weight without compromising the minimalist expression.

Environmentally friendly wood material

The wood used for these frames comes from responsibly managed forests and is FSC certified. Although our supplier has not yet achieved FSC certification itself, we only choose wood from certified forests. Therefore, we cannot market the frame as a fully FSC certified frame – but we are moving in the right direction.

Glass

For large formats such as 100x140 cm, we recommend acrylic glass over regular or anti-reflective glass. Real glass is more susceptible to damage during transport, assembly and hanging – especially in large sizes. Our acrylic glass (plexiglass) is lightweight and shatterproof and gives an almost identical appearance to real glass when the protective film is removed and the frame is hung with the poster on the wall.

Easy setup on the wall

Since large frames like this weigh a lot, a hanging system is included that you can easily assemble yourself with a Phillips screwdriver. You will receive instructions, two brackets, four screws and a strong string to attach between the brackets. Always use a solid screw in rawplug for the actual hanging, so that the frame hangs securely and stably.
