Rare British ship poster by Maurice Randall for Union-Castle Line. There have been some other copies on the market before, but we have not seen exactly this poster before. The others have primarily been with the text "South Africa in Seventeen Days", indicating that the journey took 17 days.

Unfortunately, we do not know what decade this poster is from, but we guess in the 1920s or 30s, based on the ship and the route to South Africa. The ship's name is on the side of the boat, but the block note that the first name has 9 letters, starting with an 'S', followed by the name Castle, like most of the Union-Castle Line ships.

The poster has four folds, a large tear in the middle on the right side and a few smaller tears in the top and bottom.

Frame is not included in the price. See our wide range of exclusive frames that can be customised to fit your poster.
