Original vintage poster from 1918 with the text "Together we win", which can be translated as: "Together we win". Designed by James Montgomery Flagg (1877 - 1960) - the same artist whose face is known as 'Uncle Sam' from the famous 1917 poster "I WANT YOU" .
This lithographic illustration shows three men – a sailor, a laborer and a marine – walking arm in arm ‘together’ to win World War I. The poster was published by the United States Shipping Board Emergency Fleet Corporation. This organization was created to manage merchant shipping during wartime after the United States declared war on Germany.
It is an original lithographic vintage poster; it is not a reproduction.
Condition
8/10 - Edge cracks and patina. Excellent condition - almost 9/10.
