Original Danish vintage airplane poster designed by Werner von Axster-Heudtlass (1898 - 1949) for Lufthansa. Together with his wife Maria, they were recognized poster artists in their time. With the Danish text Europe to South America in 3 days and a nice design with a plane and an airship floating over the globe. An incredibly rare poster, of which we have only seen very few copies before, and never with Danish text. The poster has been rolled up for almost 100 years, and has apparently never been exposed to light, which means it is in perfect condition. A very unique specimen!

Note that the plane has the flag of Nazi Germany on the tail.

Framing

The frame is not included, but you can see our large selection of frames with special dimensions, which can be adapted exactly to the poster's 46 x 67 cm.
