About the frame

20×25 cm (7.87 x 9.84 in) is very close to the American 8×10 inch size used for many photographs and art prints. Note, however, that 8×10 inches is slightly larger, so check the measurements of your print before ordering. In the vintage gold frame, a portrait or landscape gets an antique setting with a warm glow and light crackle – a look that brings to mind old studio photographs. The narrow 15 mm profile and 5 mm overlap give a clean and secure setting. The frame comes with a stand, so it can sit on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung horizontally or vertically despite the stand – and if you would rather do without the stand, it can be snapped off without much effort.

Glass

- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 20×25 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
