About the frame

24×30 cm (9.45 x 11.81 in) is a 4:5 format often used for smaller art prints, illustrations and photos that need some weight without filling an entire wall. In the silver-coloured wooden frame, the motif gets a setting with a discreet vintage touch, where the finely crackled surface and muted patina suit a modern graphic work just as well as a classic floral print. The moulding is 15 mm wide and 16 mm deep, and the front covers 5 mm of the glass and backing board. The size is large enough to be seen from across the room. The frame comes with a stand, so it can sit on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung horizontally or vertically despite the stand – and if you would rather do without the stand, it can be snapped off without much effort.

Glass

- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 24×30 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
